Golden Boot - Abbas Hasham

Congratulations to Abbas Hasham for the GOLDEN BOOT, with 29 goals this season he has really come into his own. Operating just outside of the box "RUUD ABBAS HASHAM" with his strength turns and little moves sure keeps the defenders guessing his every move and Ruud would then let loose a bullet of a shot. Congrats again to "Ruud Abbas Hasham" as ZFC's top goal scorer for 05/06.

Goalie of the Year - Munawarali Najafi

Goalie of the year is Team Sardar's stand in goalie Munawar Najafi, since the original goalie has gone AWOL Team Sardar have conceded the least number of goals and the credit goes to their goalie and strong defense. A total team where the defense works for the goalie the midfield for the forwards and the forwards to net in on the opposite goal. It shows their league championship form along with having the top goal scorer as well as the goalie of the season.

MVP - Adam Asaria, Aqil Najafi and Mohamed Imran Amirali

Congratulations to our 3 joint MVP's for ZFC season 05/06. Each of these 3 players is unique in their abilities and what they bring to the game.

Aqil Najafi

Aqil Najafi is the joint MVP of the season with 5 nominations and 21 goals to his name, it's no surprise that team Jessa's success in the league was helped along with the tally that aQilo was able to put together, sure was a contrast from last season and definitely reflects the improvement this season.

Adam Asaria

After winning the Rookie of the Year last year, Adam has proven with 5 man of the match nominations that he isn't a one season wonder. Even though he has been marked ever so closely this season, he has still amassed 9 goals. And at only 17 years old, he will only improve and be more of a threat next season.

Mohamed Imran Amirali

Also only 17 years old, Mohamed Imran Amirali was also Rookie of the Year last year and his game has improved immensely as the season has progressed. With more aggression in his game and the willingness to keep on going even when the odds are stacked against his team, he has the right frame of mind to become a top player. With a strike rate from midfield, that most top strikers would like to have, of a goal in every 2 games, Mohamed Imran has shown he has an eye for goal. After winning this MVP award, maybe people will now know him as Mohamed Imran Amirali, instead of Azeem’s younger brother... :)
