The Zanzibar Football Club draft was held on Saturday, 8th October, 2005.

The first pick went to Team Somji who drafted in last seasons Golden Boot winner Azeem Amir. Team Asaria drafted Mohamed "Ice Box" Alibhai as their first pick. Salman Ganawi was picked in 3rd place and was the first draft for Team Sardar which gave Team Jessa the formidable duo of Asif Somji and Aqil Najafi.

Last seasons MVP Mehdi Somji was drafted by Team Somji and the 2004 Rookie of the Year, Mohamed Imran Amirali was also drafted by Team Somji.

All the teams look even on paper and we look forward to another great season of ZFC football!
